I am officially calling these my Vegetarian Cloth Napkins. (Even though I am not vegetarian.) I found this print with a old fashioned woman looking appalled about butchering a duck. Its so silly and funny, I couldn't resist buying it!

Newspaper and Fabric Scrap Flowers
I am planning a baby shower for this coming weekend. I bought a few yards of fabric to make decorations and had a little bit left over. I wanted to make some of those fabric flowers that are all over the web right now, but for most of them you need long strips of fabric, and I just had little pieces. So, instead I made up these oversized flowers by using newspaper and fabric.

Sneak Peek
Here is a sneak peek of my newest mobile I started designing for my etsy shop. I will hopefully have the rest of it figured out and posted tomorrow!

Baby Sock Invite
I am still gushing a little over how cute these baby shower invites are. It was my friend's idea to put them inside a little baby sock. Everything is just so tiny and adorable.
(just click on the images so that they open to their full size, and then right click and save them to your computer!)
So, the plan is to see how many people show and bring their little socks and then the expecting mom gets to have as an additional present.

Home Ec Here I come!
I am extremely excited for a "Home Ec" Class that I just signed up for from the Rachel Denbow (you can check out her awesome blog here). It's a 5 week online beginner's sewing class with 26 projects, and you learn a new sewing technique with each project. I am stoked to actually learn the right way to use my sewing machine. Not to mention, I think its time I know how to make more than pajama pants.
Here are a few things that I am excited to learn to make:
Fabric Cubby/Tray
Hanging Shoe Organizer
Flying Geese Quilt
Bahh now I just have to hope that I follow thru and do all the lessons!
