My designs in the Silhouette Online Store this week are inspired by Indian Mehndi designs. I would have never thought of doing that, but it was on the list of designs suggested by a customer. I love how intricate and beautiful the artwork of this Indian custom is.
I am offering a free download from of this design that matches the rest of the designs in store:
click here for an .svg cut file of this design.
click here for a .gsd cut file (just un-zip the file and then it can be opened in the robomaster software).
Have a happy day!

How funny...I suggested that sort of design a loooong time ago. I wonder if that's the one you saw. I was trying to suggest things that were different and more ethnic other than your basic American holidays. You did an excellent job with it! If only I could get my Silhouette to work again...at the moment I can only print stuff and have to cut it out by hand. argh.

I suggested Mehndi designs less than a week ago so imagine how excited I was to see them today when I looked at the new releases! I wonder if it was because at least two of us requested them? If so, thanks Laura G! And a big thank you to YOU, Loni. Your designs are really, really lovely.
ReplyDeleteSeeing this type of beautiful, ethnic, "not-too-cutsey" artwork inspired me to upgrade my Silouette subscription. Before I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find enough artwork I liked before my credits expired (I'm picky) but I have been pleasantly surprised. I will be sure to suggest more designs hoping that my wishes will come true!
Thanks again,
Mary A.
...and thanks for doing the African Silhouette designs, too!

Great job on the Mendi designs! They are beautiful! I love the designs you put out, most of my library is made up of yours and Samantha's! :)
